Meredith and Patrick featured on Snippet and Ink!
I’m very pleased to announce that Meredith and Patrick were a featured wedding today on Snippet and Ink. I realized we haven’t gotten a good close up of the invitations themselves and although the couple and I still haven’t found the perfect couple to name it after yet I’m throwing caution to the wind and we’ll debut with the lucky couple themselves. Maybe we just need a close up to really get the creative juices flowing:
Despite that we’re using real names all the info has been changed so you can forget stalking the couple or trying to track down the parents to use their house!
Now what shall we call it? Faith and Tim? Forrest and Jenny (they got married under a tree at his Mother’s house, if memory serves)? Joey and Pacey (I was way to into Dawson’s Creek one summer I was home from college)? Bobby and Pam (to go off a Texas connection [Bobby and Pam were character on Dallas])? So those should get you started. Be sure to chime in with more in the comments section!

It might not be perfect for this one but the name Meredith made me think of Meredith and Derek (sp?) from Grey’s. From the choices above, I like Faith and Tim, although maybe something a little more country for them or Forrest and Jenny.

How about Reese Witherspoon’s character and her eventual hubby from Sweet Home Alabama?? Goes with the whole at-home, Southern Comfort feel

It immediately made me think of the old Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “OKLAHOMA!” Not sure what the character’s names were though…

YAY!! These are such great suggestions! Oklahoma! has Curly/Laurey (who sing “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’” and “The Surrey With The Fringe On Top”) and Ado Annie/Will (who sing “I Cain’t Say No” and “All Er Nuthin’”). I was Gertie my senior year of high school–she’s the one with the annoying laugh. Yuuuuup.
And it’s Melanie Smooter (Carmichael) and Jake for Sweet Home Alabama. I think that may be my current favorite! I can’t wait to talk to Meredith about all of these.
